Find Your Installed Divi Version

By George Nicolaou

The installed version is one of the first details to collect when reporting a Divi issue. A tutorial’s interface may differ because it was recorded for another release.

Check the installed product

For the Divi theme, inspect its details in WordPress’s Themes area. If you use the Divi Builder plugin with another theme, check the Plugins screen instead. A child theme has its own version; that is not necessarily the parent Divi version.

Record the surrounding environment

Note WordPress, PHP and relevant add-on versions as well. Include the affected module, page address and the steps that reproduce the problem when contacting support.

Update deliberately

Compare release notes and compatibility information before changing versions. Back up and test on staging rather than updating several components at once to see what happens. Version information narrows the investigation; it does not identify the cause by itself.
